Så här lätt fixar du frillan!

And here we go again!

And here we go again ! Many of you have for a long time been asking me how I fix my hair and I know it has taken a long time for me to answer but as they say, better late than never. As I've mention earlier, I use soft rollers that I buy on Sivletto. I use the smallest size, they are the best for short hair.

1: Take a shower and use alot of conditioner or hair mask so the hair becomes soft and easy to brush out . Then let your hair dry completely. Why I don't inserting rollers directly when my hair is wet is because it dries very slowly and it goes even slower with soft rollers.

2: When the hair is completely dry , spray the tops with water and / or setting lotion . Just so the 6 centimeters at the bottom of your hair gets wet. Then it's just to roll on. How many you should varies depends on how long and thick hair you have. The more hair, the more rolls!

3: Pull a hair net over your hair and sleep on it for at least 8 hours. The good thing with soft rollers is that they are nice to sleep on, however , it may take a while to get used to it.

4: When you wake up from your beauty sleep it's time to start styling!
Feel with your fingers if the hair is completely dry, if you feel that they are a little damp, the rollers has to stay in for a while.

5: When all the rollers are out, it's time for the hard part; brushing out the curls!
I use a round brush to make it easier to shape the curls as I want them.
When I brush I always brush inwardly towards my head so that the curls are formed in instead of out. It's just to keep on brushing, the more you brush, the finer curls!
Was it hard to understand?

The first day the curls are very tight and small, it gets a little more of a 50's style. When I go to bed I pull on a hair net so the curls woan't be pulled out during the night. In the morning of day 2 I brush out the curls again. I always like my hair best the second day because then the curls loosened a bit and they are softer and the hair creeps down a bit. Then I get the best 40's waves. I usually don't do so much with my hair, I just pin it to the side.

Is it still hard to understand, please ask me again so I can try so explain!
Good luck!

  2. So glad I found your blog!
I haven't been using my soft rollers for a little while because i've been trying to do more wet sets but my hair is so damaged from bleaching it i find the curls keep going frizzy, so i might try this again and see how it turns out! Thanks for the blog post, I am a new fan.
Love from Sarah @ Top Notch Foxy :) x x
